Echocardiographer

Location: Oxford

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join our new software as a service (SAAS) team. You should be driven, and open to working with a new and innovative technology. The service will be linked to US and UK hospitals and you will be responsible for the quality assurance of data processed through, and reported by, our clinical operations team. This role will report to the Clinical Service Manager.

Your unique combination of clinical understanding and BSE accreditation will be used to:

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work within a workflow pulling anonymised images from a cloud-based service.
  • Quality assuring all echocardiography images ready for reporting within EchoGo that utilizes AI technology.
  • Provide echocardiography expertise, skills and support to the clinical operations team.
  • Provide echocardiography expertise to a range of clinical trials and the clinical research studies.
  • Work with the research team to analyse research scans.
  • This list of duties is not exhaustive and the post holder may be asked to carry out other duties through discussion with their line manager.


Person Specification

Education/Qualifications

  • Essential: BSc in Clinical Physiology
  • Essential: BSE accreditation with the ability to provide ongoing proof of certification on a 12-month basis
